ABUJA, AUGUST, 2024 - Dr. Eugenia Ndukwe, Executive Director of Young Global Leadership (YGL) Network, emphasized the importance of exposing children to technopreneurial skills to ensure a stable economy and contribute to national development.

Speaking at the 2024 Young Global Leadership Annual Diplomacy, Entrepreneurship, and Technopreneurship program, Ndukwe highlighted the need to equip young leaders with critical skills to succeed in today's technology-driven world.

The program, designed for talented young people aged 8-15, aims to develop diplomacy, entrepreneurship, and technology skills through interactive sessions and hands-on projects.

Ndukwe stressed the importance of teaching children to be responsible, contributory citizens, and to identify their talents and strengths. She also emphasized the need for parents and the government to support this initiative.

The program's coordinator, Mr. Samuel Chukwu, echoed Ndukwe's sentiments, stating that the bootcamp aims to nurture future leaders with the skills needed to become positive contributors to society.

Participants, including David Chigozirim and Fatima Sagir, shared their experiences, highlighting the benefits of the program in developing public speaking, technopreneurship, and emotional intelligence skills.

The bootcamp, tagged "Diplomacy and Entrepreneurship Bootcamp," will run until August 23.
