ABUJA, NIGERIA September, 2024- The Honourable Minister of Police Affairs, Senator Ibrahim Gaidam, has urged stakeholders to work together to ensure transparency, fairness, and adherence to the core values of the Nigeria Police Academy in its upcoming admission processes. Speaking at the Stakeholders' Meeting on Admission for the 2024/2025 Regular Course 11 at the Nigeria Police Academy, held at the Ministry’s headquarters in Abuja, Gaidam emphasized the importance of maintaining integrity in selecting future law enforcement officers.
The Minister noted that the 2024 admissions will face new challenges and heightened expectations, making it crucial to uphold the Academy’s standards. "The integrity of this process is vital," Gaidam said, adding that it reflects a commitment to recruiting candidates who exemplify the ideals of justice, service, and dedication.
He highlighted that the selection of individuals who are not only academically qualified but also possess resilience, integrity, and a strong commitment to community service is paramount. The Minister encouraged stakeholders to contribute their insights, recommendations, and expertise to refine strategies and enhance the experience for candidates. He expressed confidence that, through collective efforts, a robust framework for admissions could be established—one that not only addresses immediate needs but sets a lasting standard for future admissions.
“As we move forward with the 2024 post-UTME examination and admission procedures for the Cadets Regular Course 11 at the Nigeria Police Academy in Wudil, let us stay focused on our shared goal of nurturing a new generation of police officers who are skilled, compassionate, and committed to serving the public with honor,” Gaidam concluded.
