ABUJA, NIGERIA October, 2024-

The Honourable Minister of State for Police Affairs, Hajia Imaan Sulaiman Ibrahim, was awarded the esteemed Honorary Professional Fellowship Doctorate for 2024 by the Chartered Institute of Public Resources Management and Politics, Ghana. The investiture took place at the Ministry’s headquarters in Abuja.


Dr. Ani Freeman, Executive Director of Corporate Affairs and Planning at the institute, conferred the award, recognizing Hajia Imaan’s outstanding commitment to excellence in public service, her impactful role in nation-building, and her dedication to community initiatives across Nigeria.


In her acceptance speech, Minister Imaan Sulaiman Ibrahim expressed her gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his support in advancing the Ministry's efforts, enabling her to enhance the police service for better efficiency and effectiveness across the country. She emphasized the importance of continued support for the government's reforms in the police and other sectors.


The Minister also commended the Chartered Institute for the honor and encouraged the organization to remain a strong advocate for accountability in public service. She reaffirmed her commitment to fostering a greater Nigeria and Africa, noting that “young people are eager for the Africa of their dreams, and we must support their growth for the upliftment of the continent.”


Minister Imaan concluded with a pledge to continue mentoring and supporting youth development initiatives across Africa.
