Ministry of Police Affairs Mourns the Loss of Ibrahim Lamorde and Dauda Haruna Mohammed

ABUJA, NIGERIA June 3, 2024 -
The Ministry of Police Affairs has condoled with the families of late Ibrahim Lamorde and Dauda Haruna Mohammed, who passed away recently. The Permanent Secretary, Dr. Nazir Sani Gwarzo, led a delegation to pay their respects at the residences of the deceased in Abuja and Kaduna.
Dr. Gwarzo described late Ibrahim Lamorde as a man who lived a life worthy of emulation, leaving behind good memories and a dedicated sister, Fati Lamorde, who serves as the Head of Legal Services in the Ministry. He prayed that Almighty Allah grant him paradise and protect him from the torment of the grave.
The Permanent Secretary also paid tribute to late Dauda Haruna Mohammed, a Special Assistant (Administration) who was known for his dedication and innovative approach to improving the police ecosystem.
The Ministry's management and staff expressed their sympathies to the families, urging them not to let the incident derail the vision of the deceased to uplift humanity and Nigeria. The families appreciated the gesture, acknowledging the leadership's concern for their loss.
The delegation included the entire management team of the Ministry, led by Dr. Nasir Sani-Gwarzo.
