"NASENI Unveils Innovative Products, Orders Pour In
ABUJA, NIGERIA May 11, 2024 - The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) has launched a range of groundbreaking products, developed in collaboration with technical partners, at a media briefing in Abuja. The products, unveiled by Executive Vice Chairman/Chief Executive Officer Mr. Khalil Suleiman Halilu, include the NASENI 300 Watts LED Solar Street Lamp, NASENI Laptop, NASENI Lithium battery, NASENI solar irrigation pumps, and NASENI Smartphone.
Since the launch, the Agency has received overwhelming interest from dealers and the public, with enquiries pouring in on product availability. Interested parties can email sales@naseni.gov.ng for bulk orders and pre-orders.
Under Halilu's leadership, NASENI has committed to collaborating with private sector partners to bring high-quality products to market, leveraging its technical expertise and market access capabilities.
"Our goal is to conserve resources, avoid duplication, and shorten go-to-market time," Halilu explained. "We partner with serious players to improve products and take them to market, enabling the private sector to thrive."
NASENI's vision is to transition from semi-knocked down (SKD) to completely knocked down (CKD) assembly, increase local content, and ensure full technology transfer and intellectual property licensing.
The Agency will keep the public updated on its progress, guided by its 3 core principles of Collaboration, Creation, and Commercialization.
"As the only purpose-built agency with a technology transfer mandate, NASENI will always focus on scaling up local content and strengthening domestic technical and production capacity," Halilu emphasized.
